Women’s Bible Study

Purpose

To minister to women of all ages of our church and the community by providing weekly Bible study, fellowship, and prayer time. To encourage each generation of women to live by God’s grace for His Glory. To grow spiritually in knowledge, wisdom and godly discernment.

WBS is open to all women and even teenage girls, and we encourage church members to invite their friends and neighbors to join the group. Childcare for infants through preschool age is provided, by reservation.

Schedule

There are three Women’s Bible Study sessions: January through April (spring), June to August (summer) and September through December (fall).   Spring and fall, you have a choice of attending Tuesday afternoons, from 1:15 PM until 3:00 PM, or Monday evenings, from 6:30 PM until 8:30 PM. The summer session will only be held on Monday evenings. Both sessions meet in the church youth room in the new wing.

April 6 & 7: Women from TBPC and the community are invited to a join us as we use a teaching series from Ligonier that includes a video lesson by the author, group discussion aided by a study guide, and a time for prayer. The series is Contentment by Lisa Kruger.  The goal of the study is to help “Christians recognize how the cultivation of contentment is fundamentally rooted in understanding and resting in the person and work of Jesus Christ.”

We will use the Zoom platform (https://zoom.us) to meet in video conference. Please register by emailing office@tbpca.org and then a link will be provided for the class.

Women’s Bible Study is a wonderful opportunity for us to get together, encourage one another, and grow in our relationship with the Lord.

Prayer for each other and Kingdom prayer for the advancement of the Gospel is encouraged collectively at Bible Studies, meetings and fellowship events.
